The online version won’t be up and running until March, but check out this cover from the inaugural issue, which features Jeffrey Rosen’s review of Anthony Lewis’s new book “Libertate Pentru Opinile Pe Care Le Detestam” — that’s “Freedom For the Thought We Hate” to you and me. The very groovy cover illustration, by Patrick Thomas, reproduces the text of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. A propósito da última parte do post do Bernardo sobre o Rock in Rio... A utilização de argumentos que incidem apenas sobre as vantagens económicas de uma determinada política podem parecer persuasivos, mas não podem ser determinantes para decidir o que seja.
Pessoalmente não gosto do conceito por de trás deste festival, é caro, "vende" a ideia que o "fixe" é ir, independentemente das bandas que vão lá estar, e como o Bernardo já frisou, a ideia de que isto serve para ajudar alguém é simplesmente desonesta. Se dependesse de mim a Câmara não se metia nisto...
